Holiday Shopping Part 2

admin - Tuesday, December 22, 2015

Alright—there are two days until Christmas. Your anxiety is shooting through the roof. How do you stay on budget and beat the clock with last minute holiday shopping? We’ll keep our tips short – so read on and power through!

Stores with Extended Hours

Big retailers know your struggle all too well. You’re busy with work, Christmas snuck up on you, you’re dealing with family and friends and life. To help you out, some stores are offering extended hours this holiday season including Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and Toys R Us.

However, keep in mind that while these stores are open for your convenience, their employees are missing out on time with their loved ones. Everyone deserves a little Christmas Cheer this season, so while you’re out, make sure to share a smile and a thank you.

In-Store Pickup

December 18 has passed and most shipments—even expedited—will not make it home for the holidays. But do not panic.  Some stores offer in-store pickup for your online purchases. That way you can online shop on your work break and pick it up on your way home. The best part? Mostly all in-store pickup options are FREE.

Deals on Deals

The deals don’t end with Black Friday. Sometimes waiting until the last minute pays off, especially in a retail setting. However, while the price tags get smaller, so does the selection. Ask yourself how flexible you’re willing to be.
