Summer’s Not Over: More Free Activities!

Everywhere you look, back-to-school ads are popping up – from TV commercials to your Twitter feed, the season’s naissance is apparent. But we’re here to remind you that summer isn’t over yet! You still have time to take advantage of the nice weather and summer work hours before fall approaches.

It’s the third and final Jam of the 2016 season. Venture to Shadyside as the city closes down Walnut Street to traffic and opens it up for breweries, live bands, and street food.

September 23-24: Thrival Festival 2016

Thrival Innovation + Music Festival is an annual event featuring multiple days of immersive, innovation-focused programming capped by a two-day outdoor live music experience. This year, Nova Place is hosting Thrival Innovation at Alloy 26. The music festival spans the following Friday and Saturday in Swissvale, Pa. with Chainsmokers and Chvrches as headliners. For the Love of Food

August 17: Hands Free Night at James Street Gastropub

Every Wednesday head to James Street for a discounted meal – but there’s a catch. You have to check your cellphone at the door. If your whole party makes it through the meal without using their phone, you get 20% off your food.  What a deal!

August 18-22: Bloomfield Little Italy Days

August 18-21: 4th Annual Style Week Pittsburgh

Style Week Pittsburgh is an annual multi-day event that showcases the works of creative entrepreneurs and fashion oriented brands at the Carnegie Museum of Art.

This 21+ night at Phipps Conservatory invites guests to dance, drink and dine in the steamy Tropical Forest Congo and moonlit botanical gardens.

September 22: Children’s Museum 21+ MAKEnight!
